Kralendijk, December 29, 2023 – In a brief and informal meeting, Water- en Energiebedrijf Bonaire N.V. (WEB) marked the end of their 60th-anniversary celebration. Gerrit Scharrenberg, Chief Operating Officer of WEB, presented a donation of $2500 to three local organizations, as a sign of their commitment to the community of Bonaire.
The recipients of this donation were; Special Olympics Bonaire, the Bonaire Red Cross, and the Federashon di Futbòl Bonaire (FFB). These organizations, known for their tireless efforts and positive impact on the Bonairean community, were recognized for their excellent work.
This donation symbolizes the climax of the festivities that took place at the end of November, where WEB celebrated six decades of service and commitment to the community. With these anniversary gifts, WEB emphasizes its appreciation and supports the ongoing efforts of these organizations.
“With this donation, we want to express our deep gratitude and respect for the fantastic work these organizations do, to make Bonaire a better place for everyone,” said Gerrit Scharrenberg during the meeting.
